Living In Lake Las Vegas

Water experiences unique to Lake Las Vegas include the gondola rides. Sunset cruises, wedding parties, or pre-wedding proposals are frequent occurrences in these Venetian-inspired watercrafts. Yacht cruises, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, and electric boats are all available to individuals or groups on a rental basis. Dragon Boat races and a dragon boat festival make for spectator fun at the lake.
Nationally recognized hotels in the Lake Las Vegas community include Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa and Hilton Lake Las Vegas. Both of these resorts include guest accommodations, restaurants, lounges, and elaborate swimming pools.
Activities Off The Water
Hiking and biking trails surround Lake Las Vegas. The River Mountains Loop Trail is 35 miles of history, taking its joy riders through Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, and Boulder City. About three and a half miles of the trail include a railroad track that once ran from Boulder City to the Hoover Dam.
Golf courses include SouthShore at Lake Las Vegas, which is a private club with a world-class golf course. The golf course itself is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design course and lands in the top 50 golf courses in the U.S. according to Golf Weekly magazine and is home to a LPGA tour player.
Reflection Bay Resort includes the first public golf course personally designed by Jack Nicklaus. He engineered the original layout for the golf course, and also reconfigured the land during the renovation phase. The clubhouse at Reflection Bay is home to a majority of the community events at Lake Las Vegas including a Mardi Gras Festival and an Independence Day Celebration complete with fireworks.
