    MonteLucca by Century Communities takes advantage of the elevation with its tiered home sites just off Lake Las Vegas Parkway. These single story floor plans with 3-car split garages range from 2,500 to over 4,000 square feet and can include up to six bedrooms.

    The Peaks by William Lyon Homes bring three floor plan designs that include first-floor master bedrooms, covered loggias and decks, great rooms, dry bars, formal dining rooms, a multi-gen suite with sitting room and kitchenette.

    Lago Vista, also by William Lyon Homes, received three Silver Nugget Awards for 2016, including Community of The Year. This 52-site gated development is a desert architecture style collection of single-family homes with its own private beach cove on the lake. Residents can take advantage of proximity to MonteLago, and Reflections Bay Golf Club surrounds the neighborhood on three sides.

    Living In Lake Las Vegas

    MonteLago Village, a Mediterranean-inspired, pedestrian-only enclave with lakeside restaurants and cafes is the non-water center of Lake Las Vegas. Local celebrity chefs and restaurant owners have a presence along the cobblestone streets of MonteLago Village. Taking notes from the European influence, condos fill the floors above the retail shops.

    A grocery store carries traditional and organic items from Full Circle and other local and regional growers, and down the sidewalk is the Village ice cream shop.

    Henderson Symphony Orchestra often performs on a floating stage adjacent to the Lake Las Vegas Marina in MonteLago Village. You’ll find these maestros making music during the Independence Day activities.

    Water experiences unique to Lake Las Vegas include the gondola rides.  Sunset cruises, wedding parties, or pre-wedding proposals are frequent occurrences in these Venetian-inspired watercrafts. Yacht cruises, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, and electric boats are all available to individuals or groups on a rental basis.  Dragon Boat races and a dragon boat festival make for spectator fun at the lake.

    Nationally recognized hotels in the Lake Las Vegas community include Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa and Hilton Lake Las Vegas. Both of these resorts include guest accommodations, restaurants, lounges, and elaborate swimming pools.

    Activities Off The Water

    Hiking and biking trails surround Lake Las Vegas. The River Mountains Loop Trail is 35 miles of history, taking its joy riders through Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, and Boulder City. About three and a half miles of the trail include a railroad track that once ran from Boulder City to the Hoover Dam.

    Golf courses include SouthShore at Lake Las Vegas, which is a private club with a world-class golf course. The golf course itself is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design course and lands in the top 50 golf courses in the U.S. according to Golf Weekly magazine and is home to a LPGA tour player.

    Reflection Bay Resort includes the first public golf course personally designed by Jack Nicklaus. He engineered the original layout for the golf course, and also reconfigured the land during the renovation phase. The clubhouse at Reflection Bay is home to a majority of the community events at Lake Las Vegas including a Mardi Gras Festival and an Independence Day Celebration complete with fireworks.
